Tarot Decks
My Tarot Decks help me find, look, see, feel, dare, understand, trust, and stay connected and balanced.
I have not looked through all of my decks, yet. I've seen, at most, maybe 40% of the total amount of cards (approx. 161*78 - 2021/04). I basically buy a deck with a sense of purpose, get it, (read through any accompanying book) put it on the shelf, and let the deck and their cards show them self to me when suitable.
I use a quite abstract combination of intuition, emotion, feeling, thinking and intuitive logic when I utilize my decks, together with a random number generator and dice.
I've never studied Tarot, or drilled any general "card meanings" into my head. I just started buying them, and using them (there is a story behind that, to be told some other time, connected to Dreams).
I perceive it as I do not use Tarot in the "common way". I do not explicitly "search answers". Mostly I have no particular questions. Oftentimes, as mentioned, I don't even choose the deck. More often than not I literally let the dice, or rather a random number generator, decide and show me the way to the right question, subject and/or guidance in the moment.
In the beginning I collected data and information. I mapped. I explored. I used my (then) 100 decks to create some sort of map or general description of my (inner) self, and made connections from it to my natal horoscope, and to guidance from I Ching. You might call it some sort of inner archaeology - as my inner self, soul and/or unconscious ultimately is connected to the collective unconscious and the ancient (time-less) world soul. I'm searching for inner roots, connections, explanations.
Therefore, I explore Myself and The Unknown at the same time. All are one, one is all, all are connected. We are all just momentarily manifestations of being. Dots, like the stars in the sky. All seeing only what is in our own particular surroundings - at best. If we care and dare to look. My Tarot Decks help me see, feel, and understand outside my comfort zone.

Footnote: I have always been fascinated with cards. Playing cards with my parents was the standard evening fun in the weekends. As young I collected ordinary playing cards, and have a bag with about 100 of those too. Caps and cards was the standard souvenirs to buy on any road-trip or journey for a long time!

Below: list of my current collection. A few of them digital, and marked with 'app'.
Most "Tarot of..."-decks are somewhat renamed in the list. E.g. "Tarot of Mermaids" is listed under M.
Though, Tarot of the Dead is listed under T and not D. List it under D as just Dead felt... well, weird.
