Retaining facts and information isn't wisdom.
Trough processing information, experiencing it and contemplation over it one can arrive at wisdom. 

Learning from our successes, and 'mistakes'. Adventures, trials and tribulations. Gains and losses.
Being present for all the emotions it induces within us. 
Not judging them.
Awareness.

And then use what we learn, that wisdom...
"to find our place and purpose within the universe"

Our true purpose and place.
Not the purpose and place someone else wants to put us in.
Maybe not even the place and purpose we want to put our ourselves in - but the place that the universe needs us to be in.

What we want isn't always what we need, and what we need isn't always what we want.
Wherefore it's sometimes hard to see were the universe is guiding us to go, as we're not even looking in that direction.
We might even be afraid to look in that very direction.
Afraid to the degree that we're hiding it from ourselves. #BlindSpot
