Three of Cups + Five of Pent's, Maat + Girlfriend's

Perplexing!

One of the most celebratory cards in the deck describing a deep sense of belonging together with the card of painful loneliness...!
P5: a very explicit and specific "Lust or a secret lover will lead you to the brink of failure"...!
Let's try and unpack this.

1st: #MaatTarot A deck symbolizing a 'female-centered worldview'.
The card shows '3 generations of women' (Maiden/Mother/Crone) and I read "watching life mature and develop".
C3 then becomes 'truly embracing your feminine side', and in my case 'essence'. Transmitting the LINEAGE of womanhood.

I am deeply into studying #polarity and the 'true feminine archetype'. Which is VERY unlike the 'modern woman' and 'modern feminism', in which I can't see (or feel) much else than a man in women's clothes. With maybe a 'feminine layer' on top of it - the MASK and LOOK of a woman, the ACT of a woman. (I've been there..)
Not the pure RADIANCE of a RECEPTIVE woman.

And the annoying war cry "WOMEN CAN!"?
If you truly know and believe it, why scream about it?! Who are you trying to convince?!
ALWAYS made me cringe.
Now I've come to understand why, as I go further down the deep rabbit hole of POLARITY.
BETWEEN man and woman.
"Equaliting out the differences" is a MAJOR error.
Independence is a necessary step, but INTERdependence is an urgent next step!
And I believe it is the women that have to reach out their hands first, and in some sense - surrender.

But then doomsday thing: 'lead you toward the brink of failure'?!
ACTUAL failure or the FEELING of failure? (as the trad P5 show the EXPERIENCE of being outcast rather than an actual truth)
Because in the eyes of "modern" women (our girl friends) we LOOK like a failure when we embrace this "weak" version of a woman, and are "made to FEEL" like a failure?
And the men of today are not prepared to handle 'this kind of woman (girlfriend)' so a "failure" in relationships is also likely?!

Is this then a true failure or merely a symptom of a sick society?
Or does the card merely show a FEAR of said failure - which is inevitable in some sense, if we are to "mature and develop" (which not everyone wants to do)?
