Once we've embraced both the feminine and masculine within ourself and united them, we can transcend it and create fruitful unions with others based on our natural essence.

As David Deida writes, we all have either a feminine or masculine essence, but we all also have a feminine and masculine part in us. Before we can 'join in intimate communion' we must have embraced both part in ourselves, as to not search it without.
We just cannot go straight from co-dependence to inter-dependence. We must pass independence. Truly get to know who we are and find balance within - not search for someone who can balance us from without.
Once we do, we can transcend this balance and relax into our true essence - and 'find our essence match'.
In an act of surrender.

We must embrace ALL before we can transcend and surrender a part - otherwise it's just repression or laziness, trying to 'FIND it in another'!

It's not about founding who 'completes us' - we are complete in ourselves.
Only from this place of 'lacking nothing' can we inter into a fully adult union with an individual that matches our essence and core make-up. So we can relax into our essence and not 'do it all'.

Nature haven't made a mistake creating TWO sexes, with vastly different biology, PURPOSE and  FUNCTION. Trying to deny this only creates a LOT of problems - as we can see all around us... 

It's NOT about duality, it's about #POLARITY
It's about TENSION. The kind of tension that's necessary for growth and expansion.

Nothing comes out of perpetual balance and total equality! That's status quo. or: stagnation. The beginning of death.

So, once we've found balance within, we need to give up that comfort and enter the game of polarity - the "challenge of union". With the 'right match' - the "Challenge of Choice".
