The Wheel + Five of Swords, Circle of Life + Vampyres

In some way, shape or form 'the table has been turned' - all in cosmic order. The Circle of Life.
And, we have 'cleaned the slate', and in some sense 'passed the baton'.
We 'did what we could'. We made an effort way outside our comfort zone even - W10 YD.
Acted with and from love as much as we could in the moment though feeling "attacked" by shadows both from within and without. That is, we experienced a "wrongful/bad treatment" (actions/words coming from a shadow place) which triggered fears and trauma reactions within us, but we managed to stay in decent connection with our inner core and guidance and act/respond from that place - The Star YD.

Because of this we 'cleaned the slate' on our side. We healed a part of our rejection or abandonment wound by not responding in affect or from our hurt place.
Therefore we feel no lingering bitterness, hurt or judgment but even gratefulness for the experience.
As we know how exactly how strongly hurt and trauma can affect actions we can feel compassion for 'the other' when our own reactions have cooled off - but more and more even during 'the heat'.

This doesn't mean condoning neither words nor behavior.
We can still 'have question-marks', and thanx to the experience define even clearer for ourselves 'what we prefer and not prefer'. 
And with our newfound insights we can offer a new start, and/or clearly show were we stand and who we are and give the other time and space to decide were to continue or go from here.

By this we have shown that we do not like to participate in a 'shadow to shadow relationship'.
In a sense we've not only 'lay down our sword', but ourselves too - in surrender.
Surrendering not TO the shadow, but BEFORE it.

In a 'your move' kind of way.
This instead of 'fighting fire with fire', or running away or weakening in fear.
This shows that it actually did hurt us, that we have recovered and even healed - AND have the courage to meet it again.
We don't WANT to meet it again, but we REFUSE to put conditions on another.
We give them continued freedom to act however they want to.
Give them time and space to opt for another behavior next time.
