The Star + Five of Wands, Medicine Woman + Atavist
Sometimes all we can do is to empower a person in their 'lostness' and search, and tell them we will always be there for them - no matter what.
We may FEEL somewhat powerless when we 'cannot do more to help' (reversed) - but if this is EXACTLY what we are supposed to do, we must not underestimate the healing power of our action, and mere presence.
If the said person have never had an unconditionally loving person in his life before it is immensely powerful (and maybe frightening) to experience it.
If said person have experienced "love" and support only for doing things others like and want them to do, receiving it unconditionally can be (perplexing but) life changing.
If said person is used to be laughed at, shamed or told wrong/bad for following their impulses (maybe their whole life), being met with total acceptance and even understanding for the same things can do wonders for your soul (but chock and scare the shit out of their defense system and 'personality')
Enter the 'struggle part' - W5.
The struggle of realizing WE are enough when offer this kind of '(according to our ego:) nothing but' support, and the struggle of 'meeting them were they are at' - accepting that we are dealing with a deeply wounded person that might have troubles fully receiving and embracing our support. At least immediately.
Why this seemingly 'passive' support is all that is needed right now - as to not overwhelm or risk to totally shut down the other.
It's probably 1000% more than the person have ever received.
And a tremendous possibility for US to practice #LivingWithAnOpenHeart
To offer an all-embracing trust in another and their choices and inborn capacity to find their own way - their own North Star.
To offer an all-embracing love 'despite' all they have ever done, the whole of who they are now, and what ever they choose to do from here.
No requirements on 'getting anything back' - not even the slightest 'thanx'.
No requirements on them receiving and "using" our support in any particular way.
No kind of appreciation or "praise" needed, as taking comfort in the fact that we are 'doing what we are here to do' is reward enough!
Embracing ALL outcomes.
#Freedom
Which is actually not as much a struggle as it is a 'letting go' and let be :)
The sense of 'burden' comes from thinking we're not doing enough or taking on to much of theirs when it's just something they have to go through!
