The Meraki, Meraki Tarot
Suddenly, we ran out of air...all sense of purpose (and certainly the 'celebration' of yesterday) just flew out the window.
What an opportunity! ;)
A sense of only wanting to sleep, or cry, has overcome us - but we manage non of them.
Adding to the shame - over feeling bad/sad in the first place.
As it doesn't 'help us' - neither the sadness, nor feeling sorry for ourselves.
And there are 'others having it (way) worse' - because on the whole we KNOW we're actually quite lucky.
And, because 'we (intellectually) know everything happens exactly as it should'.
Yet, no matter how 'knowledgeable' we are - a feeling of being 'done' has taken over our system.
We can help feeling 'low'.
Or that crappy 'lonely and powerless' feeling.
Seeing no way forward, feeling no wish to go forward. Ever.
And the shame keeps piling up beside us.
It's very important to not intellectually run over these emotions (again).
Even though they might not be true (the stories about them that is), the emotions in themselves are REAL.
Messages - agents of peace (dove) even.
Coming from parts of us that have been pushed down too often and for way too long already.
For ages these messages have been written down - or plainly ignored all together - by us, and others before that (that's how/why we learned to do it)
Because of the discomfort they bring, and how 'unhelpful/meaningless' they appear - to the rational mind.
Maybe we were taught to distract ourselves from these feelings.
Maybe we were taught that some feelings 'make us weak' - and whatever 'caused them' should be 'fixed' - so we can 'feel strong' again.
Why not take the opportunity to break the pattern? :)
Let's not haste to 'fix' or write down the (emotional) discomfort, while refraining from running away with anxiety inducing thoughts about it.
