Let go of control or beware of losing control?!

In one sense or another 'Authority' in terms of being a 'close friend' is the theme of the day.
It can go in both directions. That we need to redirect a feeling of 'resignation' - to our situation or as consequential effect from an event - or that we do best in letting go of and urge to try and control a situation, or an outcome.
Both can be true in one and the same situation, or they can relate to two separate situations.

Which is true/right 'answer' can be hard to discern sometimes - especially in beforehand.
Awareness of a 'theme' like this can be a game changer though.
It reminds us to tread especially carefully, and that we need to take pauses.  
Meaning that whenever either a feeling of wanting to resign or 'give in' comes up, or a feeling that something have to be directed takes a hold of us, we can remind ourselves to pause and contemplate or reflect on our sensations/thoughts and their sources/intentions. 
Is it true?
Is it categorically true that we have to give up or exert power in this moment?

'Delays' like these are powerful indeed. 
They are a foundation for optimal and organic growth.
