Ten of Cups, Chrysalis Tarot
Are we done with the 'non controlling thing' yet already?! that fearful part exclaims (see yesterday)
It's uncomfortable, as we're raised (by society) to not only distract ourselves from our feelings but also to 'go get what we want'. Implying almost constant action and doing.
'Sitting on our hands' is not what we're programmed to do, but actually - 'not doing' is also doing :)
Not as 'distracting' as our system likes it though ,:)
This card reminds us (again) of
"just letting things be. Very little effort on your part is required now."
Or, as it's so uncomfortable, quite the effort IS needed ,:)
(reversed)
We have a hard time relaxing into the moment, and enjoy it exactly as it is - we want to 'speed things along'.
"Trying to control a romantic situation could send it afoul."
Whether the romantic aspect is a fitting description or not, the guidance regarding our 'situation' is clear - as Barney Stinson says: 'wait for it'
