Six of Cups + The Fool, Ethereal Visions + Mermaid

Time to engage with emotions from the past in a new way! 

These two kids aren't occupied with the task of 'filling their cups' - they are enjoying the sun, each others company, the flowers - The Moment - just like this particular Fool isn't embarking on another journey!

More being, less doing!

Innocently reuniting with memories and emotions from the past. 
This Fool is not happily skipping, not jumping off any cliff, but rather 'passively' reuniting with her innocence.

Maybe something has activated or had us remember feelings from our childhood, or maybe we woke up in a sea of emotions not 'belonging to the present' (my case).

The invitation seems to be to embrace The Fool energy not in a 'take a leap' way, but maybe even the opposite - NOT taking action!
To be with the emotions, feel into the inner child. 
The surfaced feelings are ones that wants to be honored, cared for, embraced. 

Not that we need to sit still on a chair, but maybe slow down a bit.
Not be the ones who tell the child 'not now, I don't have time'.
Because we have.

Not be the ones who tell the child to 'do something useful'.
Just because we're disconnected with the capacity to just be. Sit in the grass. Lay on the ground and look at the stars, or the clouds.

We might experience this 'nostalgia' as uncomfortable. 
We might sense a desire to initiate something new (like the 'traditional' fool), but feeling 'hampered by circumstances' - like our 'legs are tied together'.
That's our cue!
A sign that it's time to pause, smell the grass, be with the emotions from the past!
Be open and vulnerable (naked) with ourselves!
