Six of Cups, Good Tarot
"Authentic healing and joyfulness will be mine if I stop rekindling the emotions of the past"
"Triggered to remember the past" - but we can choose anew what to make of it and how to move on from here.
To let go of 'the trigger' for example, as we're now dealing with a kind of trigger that has 'done it's work'.
Enough 'water under the bridge' has passed for us to know this - and why.
Because we now have a bunch of new experiences to 'compare' with.
A continuation of yesterday's theme. Opportunities for death and rebirth.
Parts of us "yearning for the security of the good old days" make the process harder. They want to cling to 'the familiar'.
Letting go of the familiar isn't a walk in the part or for the faint of heart.
It's painful, hence the Death card yesterday and today this woman looking to have some abdominal issues?!
Yep, it can be 'hard to digest' some truths. Like having to let go of well-worn patterns and behaviour - in fear of not knowing who we are we without them. And it literally feels like 'killing a part of ourselves'.
Something has 'passed it's expiration date'. Probably a relationship.
It's not so much about the person as it is about us truly seeing, feeling and embracing what it is about the person/relations hip that doesn't longer 'fit us'.
It somehow demands us to 'operate on a lower lever than we ought (want) to be operating in'. No shame or judgement towards the person, but it now 'hampers our growth' - and might actually NOT help the other either.
There's no coming around it: it keeps us 'stuck in the past'. Same old, same old, in some regard.
No 'Good' comes out of being 'the Good Girl' here.
Compromise is not the most important thing to practice now (North Node eclipse Aries), so if that's a central piece: red flag!
It's time to level up and consciously choose what excites us, suits us, and more immediately expands us.
No need to be nasty, just clear.
