Queen of Swords + King of Pent's, Magical Dog + Linestrider
Maybe we have a history of over-sharing ('crossing the line'), or of 'telling it how it is' with too little compassion for the human condition - and now we're afraid we'll do it again, and 'push/scare yet another person away/off'.
Suddenly we again find ourselves to be afraid of our own intensity, our deep perception, our penetrating insights. The 'way we are'. It comes alive when we meet persons 'we're afraid to loose', and/or 'cross a certain line/depth' with a person.
Until then there's no problem 'being ourselves'. Until a certain type of fear is triggered within - which is different for all.
We desperately want to be loyal (dog), we want to be honest, and we also don't want to hurt - 'say something wrong'.
Which we have a history - or a muscle memory - of having done many a time previously in life.
Memories of people turning away when we open the honesty box. Not wanting to see (or feel) what we see.
Memories and feelings of 'ending up alone' when we reveal who we truly are, what we truly see.
Standing there, naked and vulnerable, and once again - alone.
That's why we developed this rather involuntary 'coldness' (of the Swords Queen) and the 'verbal oversharing'.
To protect ourselves from the (perceived to be inevitable) hurt.
But we're more "senior" now!
The fear is real - but so is the fact that we've 'come a long way since then'.
We're much more in authority of ourselves and our 'resources'.
Knowing that IF our 'authentic appearance' push or scare someone of, it's not meant to go deeper :)
'Authentic' being the most important word here.
Saying only what our gut tells us to say - not taking our head's advice (like saying what we 'should' or 'want' to say, or what we think that the other 'wants to hear') ,:)
Sharing just the 'right amount' - for our own, and the other's sake.
Maybe we don't strike the 'perfect middle'.
It will take some practice - and it WILL trigger anxiety, as we're treading really tender territory.
Better to 'risk it' than to 'regret we didn't have the courage'.
It's really a time for building courage now.
