True (unconditional) kindness is a rare thing in this world.
So rare that if you practice it you might actually scare people off...!

For so many of us 'drama' is 'normal'.
But something being normal and what we're used to does NOT equal it being healthy...

For traumatised individuals kindness can actually be (unconsciously) perceived as threatening.
It's so way out of the comfort zone, and it's terrifying not to be able to get back in there - that is, 'hindered' by the other not giving give into their shadows (drama requires two people engaging in it). All kinds of trauma reactions may spurt out, just to pull the other into the drama.
And even if not right out threatening it can be perceived as anything from mild to severe discomfort.
'Boring' is an example of mild discomfort.
Because if you're used to 'fight for your life/opinion/attention', not having to do it feels....weird. As if you don't exist maybe. Drama is the only way you know you're alive.
And in the silence replacing drama all kinds of repressed emotions and fears begins to speak, or scream.

This can very well make another person 'flee' or 'separate from us' (yesterday's card).
They are not running from US, they are running from themselves.
And we better let them - with open hearts (that's the lesson for us)!
They are not 'taking the easy way out' - they are taking the longest way.
They are not evil or mean - they are most probably hurting (knowingly or unknowingly).
Hurt people need love and kindness most of all!

It may feel rather challenging to 'be the bigger person', when we ourselves are hurting.
It's easy to show love and kindness when we feel good, but it's the capacity act from an open heart even when we don't that change the world (and reprogram our genes) the most!

Opening hearts one at the time - beginning with our own!
That's how a modern witch works :)
