Weathering a storm by anchoring even deeper in our own creativity and nature.

Remember the 'enforced isolation' + The Empress YD..?!
Very similar theme in these cards!

A woman looking like she is 'weathering the storm' - a 'having to stay inside because of the weather', not of her own choosing kind of thing.
Yet when I read about the card it talks about a woman who has chosen to 'live out in the woods', and also to 'keep all of her emotions (large cup) hidden'.
So VERY similar to how I interpreted the cards YD - it's a mix of enforced and voluntary withdrawal.

There IS something to 'weather out', and the best way IS to withdraw and 'keep things to ourselves' for the time being. As NOT doing it only would make the storm worse so to speak. And only take longer to ride out.
And whatever the "storm" is, there's just no point in going out into it either!
Whatever the drama, the best path is silence (just like the Hermit YD).

Engaging with the storm, or the drama, would only create conflict. A conflict that cannot (and should not) be 'solved'.
This is similar to a 'couple situation' where one partner has come to a conclusion that the other has not, and therefore does not 'agree with' - and where no explanation in the world would help the other to see it, nor accept it. Any 'talking things through' would, again, only create conflict. Instead of one partner being clear and standing calm and firm in their own perception, not feeling a need to 'explain or defend', while the other ones 'storms' (probably requiring explanations).

There's just NEVER a need to defend our feelings. Quite the contrary. Feeling a need to defend them only speaks to a fear residing within us. An old pattern of feeling that our feelings aren't valid.
They are.

Instead of defending them, the advice is to NURTURE it!
Yesterday, the creative mother prepping the room for the unborn child, today there's more depth and intensity to the nurturing. Because the more it storms around us, the deeper we must anchor in our own truth.
