A part of us might not like to 'persist' in a particular matter, but once we 'bury the hatchet' everything changes.

As we cannot win a fight within ourselves ,:)

There just ARE and will always be parts having differing opinions within us! #InternalFamilySystems

The part that doesn't want to persist might remember all the times we 'persisted in vain', so it's perfectly reasonable it's a bit hesitant or even hostile about it!
No need to bang it's head, and very contra productive to 'explain things to it' and override it's feelings of concern.
The way forward is to embrace the concern with compassionate love. Make the part feel seen and heard.

The feeling of resistance is also not a call to 'doubt what we are doing or where we are going', it's just a healthy response from an outdated defense system :)
