Make a Wish + Nine of Wands, Foxfire + Candy

Are we too tired to believe that our dreams or wishes matter?

Are we again stuck in some kind of survival mode, pouring all our energy into stuff that we 'should' do and to 'get things done'?
Are we letting our stubbornness take the best of us?
Or are we just too afraid to sit down and figure out what we really want?
Are we afraid of the disappointment of not getting our wishes fulfilled or is it that we don't even know what we want anymore so even thinking about it is painful?
So we just push on and on, "waiting for the enemy's next attack" (because the world is such a hostile place).
In a deep-seated belief that we have to "earn it"...
And for some reason we don't feel we do?

With this kind of belief the world isn't a 'candy store' where all is possible.
To us the world is a place were you have to struggle for survival - dreaming is for later.
We just have to do One More Thing.
What a sad little prison we've created for ourselves, or - if 'inherited' - chosen to stay in.

If we don't define for ourselves what it is we want we will "be taken in the direction and towards the outcomes that others decide for us".

"Do not diminish yourself, dear one"
"do not delay in sending your wish forth into the golden heart of the great and mysterious Universe"

And if we don't know what it is we want, when did we lose our capacity (and right) to dream and wish?
Let's reclaim that shall we!
Let's embrace the fact that we stopped dreaming/wishing for our own survival (trauma response) 'back then' and then entertain the possibility to begin wishing and dreaming again?!
Befriend the fact that the world is a place of abundance (filled with candy) with enough for everyone - if we stop fighting, resisting, hoarding, pushing.
Yes WE, not them.
It always begins with me - us.
