Knight of Wands, Dreams of Gaia Tarot
Are we the damsel in distress, or the one who 'rescues' - or a little of both?
Yesterday we had the written-in-the-stars deck, today we get a word from Mother Earth herself!
It might not be about saving but rather about 'serving' or 'being served'.
Being noble and courageous, or accepting, welcoming and embracing noble acts from another.
Themes.
"serve for little or no reward"
"serve without question" - "because it's the right and honourable thing to do"
It is as much a calling as it is an everyday choice.
Are we courageous enough to make the choice to serve selflessly, no questions asked?
Are we courageous enough to 'receive and embrace help for no reason' - let another act like a Hero (guardian, protector, saviour)? And not deflect, shrink or resist.
It's also about our relationship with #loyalty and #commitment
Loyalty of a kind that will not waver.
"all lasting relationships are built upon foundations of honesty, trust, respect, and loyalty"
Do we have the courage to embody this kind of loyalty 'because it's the right thing to do'? Who we are.
Do we have the courage to commit fully to the moment, without fear of consequences?
Heroism isn't a gender thing.
It doesn't matter if we're men or women.
It's the men (protectors) who "honour and respect women, not because they deem them to be weak" - but because they are "partners, helpmates, life bringers". Men who "protect the one who nurtures"
It's the women (nurturers) who "honour and respect men, not because they are subservient" - but because they deem the men "equals, helpmates, providers, and protectors"
There's a quite strong #NewMoon today - another #NewBeginning - how can we courageously participate in this?
(the new moon is conjunct Mars :))
