Knight of Swords + The World, Fire + Linestrider

Waiting for permission or approval to 'get out there and live our own life'?

A somewhat unusual meaning in the LWB for the Fire Knight caught my eye:
"indicates waiting for a trail"

Is there something we've done (Knight) we feel ashamed of, or in some way are afraid we will be 'judged' for at least?
Because that's what 'used to happen'?
We're used to be judged for our 'rash actions', or our 'impulsiveness'?

Maybe there were some truth to it, because there is just so much fire and drive in us.
But now we're in a different place. We know a lot more what we truly want and need.
Now we' re actually acting quite courageously. Maybe not 'perfectly', but with a deep aligned intention. Following our passion.

The 'shame' is still in there though. The memories of judgement, questioning or being silenced or quieted down. For 'being too much', or weird, or disgusting - or all of them. Being ourselves wasn't appraised or supported. Maybe it was even disapproved of.
It still affect us. Paralyze us in some way.
Approval is such an integral part for survival. Or WAS. When we were children. But the nervous system doesn't 'know that we have grown up'. Parts of us are still in that survival mode.

Time to face and embrace that hurt little part in us that feels ashamed.
Make it a part of our history - not our future!
And head out into the world as US - courageous fiery glorious us!
No tip-toeing, or 'staying in line'!
