Maybe there are things we want to 'phase out' or remove ourselves from (like the Knight jumping off his horse!)
But not so fast.
While there's many reasons to do so, there are also some reasons to 'ride it out' a little longer - and not just yet 'take a hike'!
There's something important about The Relationship.

While there might be tasks we want to (and rightfully are to) back away from, there might be persons (hence relationships)  involved that we're not 'done' with!
Not necessarily from the classical 'romantic' perspective, but there's for sure an affinity between you.
Enough to be a reason to continue a little longer.
In one way or another this relationship have something to do with our dreams.

Or, to reframe it: the reason you met was one, the reason to stay in touch is another!
