Confusion prevents us from seeing (and feeling) the essential.

For some reason we feel as we don't have much to contribute.
'We have nothing but this one coin'.
'This one imperfect aging body'.
We remember all the things that have 'gone wrong' or 'amounted to nothing' in the past.
All 'promises and dreams' that have disappeared into thin air.

We've become resistant to new ideas.
The ability to 'find new ways' withered a long time ago.
Our curiosity and 'dreaming' is something we've put behind us.

'What's the point?'
'I'm useless.'
That's were we're at.
That resigned part within us is now steering the ship.

Oh it aches us.
Because we also feel that part within that yearns to feel alive!
That part that knows that life is about thriving!
But we can't even remember the last time we dared to 'have a dream'.
Because past experiences haunt us.
Hindering us from seeing clearly in the present.

Remedy: Contemplation :)

No 'quick fix' or pill will help us!
Only gentleness, patience and awareness will!
Letting go of thinking we have to decide or find an answer to anything on the outside - it's what happening and awakening on the inside that matters!
