Knight of Cups + Two of Swords, D Didactic + Celestial

Some strange, fated, event has tossed us, or rather our emotions, upside-down a bit.
Swirling, like the two fish around (with) each other.
Gone ("stolen") is the calm and excitement we had "worked to obtain".
As rapid as the "river" it went!

Maybe someone came, danced with our imagination for a swift but intense moment - and then left, leaving nothing but a sweet scent as a faint memory of the occasion.
And a stirred heart and a "mystery".

Maybe not a broken heart (3 of S), but that cross-roads-divided-feeling.
A 'missed opportunity' sensation.
No explanations or answers.

Why did the stars (the universe) orchestrate this 'unexpected mess'?!

Only in fairy-tales does the prince (Knight of Cups) come back with that dropped shoe - but also, it wasn't WE who came and went, and no shoe is to be found :)
