Yes, we've come a long way regarding our ability to "master the emotions that dominate the personality".
Those parts of us which are run by old fears. Fears of abandonment and rejection and such. Due to experiences in our childhood, or - for us who ascribe to it - experiences in previous lives #EvolutionaryAstrology

Emotions and fears of this kind are strong. They quickly take over the wheel.
Or, used to do!
We've finally begun to 'master' them - through our tireless work of showing compassion to ourselves. And to those who - seemingly - reject and abandon us. The people we have attracted into our lives to 'reveal were we are not free' (#PeterCrone )
We have not been free in relationship dynamics! Not that many are, so it seems. Many becomes dependent, attached, dominating, castrated, fearful and/or bitter in relationships!
How many couples do you know were both parties both individually and together seem radiant, relaxed, fulfilled, confident, comfortable, and - free?

We've now come a long way working with these subjects. Maybe we don't yet fully feel it, because of 'lack of results' (reversed cards) - but they will come!
Now we're in the 'Faith Part' of the process!

Why do we not feel it?
As the text for The Star reminds us: "The Star follows after "the brutal Death, Devil and Tower cards" - which can take the optimism out of even a jolly fellow such as Santa Claus ,:)

"Everything has changed for the person holding this card, and yet this complete turnaround hasn't broken them down"
"a pretty stunning accomplishment"

And - the "reward" will come!
Why not immediately?! Because it's part of the process that we get time to let this stunning accomplishment sink into our core and our bones first, and really EMBODY it. Embody our strength. Which is done when we stand quite, tall and strong in this very accomplishment - not falling pray to doubts and second guessing.
