Judgement + Seven of Swords, Sweet Twilight + Holy Grail
Patiently keep letting the old be dead, not fight it, and 'wait for the call'.
The first card talks about 'the dead not being dead', and that they will 'begin living as someone or somebody else'.
Our 'old self' is now as dead as it gets without actually dying, but our 'new self' has not formed. Or, our 'new life' is not visible yet. We're in some sort of Bardo State - The Twilight Zone.
We're no longer who we were but not yet where we're meant to be so to speak.
The importance and beauty of truly letting the old die and wither, and not race and haste to become something else.
Truly 'waiting for the call'.
So that all parts of us have the time to accept and 'face the fact'.
It's not a small task for a 'simple human being' - accepting the death of 'who we used to be', and all that inevitably must die with it. All the beliefs we adhered to and maybe stod on the barricades for, all the commitments we made in the name of the same beliefs. All the goals we might have to "give up". The changes we have to make.
It really FEELS like a death, dying to your old self.
And therefore in some sense should be approached with that mindset.
Again, take the time for all parts of us to adjust. Just like when we're dealing with 'actual death', parts of us WILL have a hard time accepting 'the ending', the inevitable. And in some sense it's even harder when it's not 'real death', as the resistant parts actually "have something to resist to"!
Like the cards show, some parts will keep on resisting, and "put up a fight".
The key is to not fight.
The S7 is about fighting fights where no one will or can win.
We need to be extremely intelligent in this 'battle'.
Both regarding the inward conflicts, and the ones that may be mirrored in our outside world.
Patiently keep letting the old be dead, not fight it, and 'wait for the call'.
Let the new slowly begin blossoming in it's own timing.
