Five of Swords, Âme Tarot

Bittersweet - or 'be carful what you wish for'?

This card seems to ask us - was it worth it?
Or, is it worth it?

What's our intention?
What's our true motivation?

Is it 'for the good of all'?
Or do we want to prove something?
Try out something?

Have we really thought about the consequences, or has our egos shut that kind of thinking off?
Preferring to focus on 'being right' and/or 'do what ever I want to' (because I have free will don't I)?
Sure, we may - but (how) does our choice affect other people?

Are we in it because of inspiration and the possibility growth, or for the chase, the thrill, the dopamine...?

Yesterday we had the 'drama' card. The drama being in our heads.
We managed to get out of that one, but now it seems that the tables have turned - the ego knows it got caught as being the 'drama maker', and now it's pissed?!
'Someone's gotta pay for this...' it says?

And this might be disguised in 'innocent mischievous' behavior.
Let's not play with fire today :)
Or - be prepared for the consequences ;)

Sometimes we maybe have to "do the wrong things for the right reasons" - maybe that's how we need to learn at some phases of our lives. And maybe that's how the eventual "other" needs to learn too - through 'us happening to them'?!
People and events are placed in our lives as well as we are placed in others' (to "reveal were we're not free" - Peter Crone).

Sometimes we may need to move away from the 'goal' to come closer to the goal (dream)?
Life's not a straight road.
