Five of Cups + King of Cups, Monstarot + Today's Journey

A little bit of a continuation, but it's lighting up a bit compared to YD!
There it was almost all doom and gloom, lostness and not knowing where to go.
Today there's an awakening. They aren't purely 'a dance on roses' though we may wish they were.
Wouldn't it be lovely to get insights and only move upwards?!

I guess a tough awakening is sort of a given if we've been lost and wandering, like YD's cards alluded to.
To realize were we were and maybe ARE making some less then optimal choices, and how they have made us 'lose something' - I think of the fallen glasses in card 1. That's all we can see in the beginning.
That's fine, but it's important that we as soon as possible 'get a hold of ourselves' and realize that our emotions aren't 'all true'. They are sign-posts and guidance.
It IS possible to "bounce back". Accept what was and mostly what IS, and continue to 'feed our joy'. And our curiosity. To become curious about our choices instead of self-blaming. Realize that we can use our emotions differently from here, and do different choices!

As mentioned YD, it wasn't my cards then, and it isn't my cards today - they were messages to/from a dear friend.
"Forced" by the strong energy in the cards and because 'circumstances supported it', I contacted/met him. And by embodying the archetype of the King, I 'guided him back to himself' in a sense!
By first making him aware that he was a bit adrift, which he wasn't aware of - at least not consciously. But my cards knew that it was awareness just below the surface, alerted me about it, and sent me to his "rescue" ,:)
I "just" had to 'remind him who he is' and 'jack him back into his own thinking' - which I almost seem to be more aware about than him (his words) ><)

For some reason I haven't yet figured out my cards rather often show me this friends life. It's clear as day when the cards suddenly switch from my life and my experiences, to his, in a way they don't do for anyone else. And they were stronger than ever. The message even "showed up in my body". YD I 'felt as sick as the cards looked' ,:)
