Eight of Cups, Arco Iris

15.11.2023

The pressing urge to either move forward or move on - not accepting or maybe even acknowledging that there's a 3rd (4th, 5th..) option.

Should I try or should I not?

Oh, the indecision and confusion - Eight of Cups in reverse ,:)

The fear of 'trying one more time', and "fail". Or 'wasting time' maybe.
Versus the fear of 'missing the train'.

Again, it's not as much about 'knowing where to go' (Two of Swords R 4 days ago) as it is about (sitting with and) #contemplating the confusion and discomfort itself!
The tension and probable #anxiety we feel is NOT because we must and cannot decide, but rather that we THINK we have to know or decide (and/or a fear of the outcome) :)

Uncertainty is something we're programmed to dislike and 'get out of' as quickly as possible - by any means (actions/words) necessary. By forcing ourselves - or others - to 'have an answer', or 'make a choice'.

An urge to be anywhere but where we are ><)
Why the hurry?

A fear of letting things be, unfold and 'clear by itself'?
Muddy water (cups) clear up the quickest if we but stop stirring in it.

As long as we INTERPRET an uncomfortable feeling being equal to having to know or make a decision - no decision needs to be made, and clarity can't be forced.

KNOWING feels completely different than this messy confusion - we KNOW that :)
And it'll arrive at us faster if we stop chasing and forcing.

Or something like that :)
