Trust the process, it's not a sprint it's a marathon.

The card talks about ambivalence. I think about my ambivalent Gemini Moon. 
Feelings and body sensations and signals all over the place. 
What's right, what's ... left?

Looking both ways before you cross the street is a good thing, but standing there looking to and fro and never mustering the courage, or - rather - plainly making the decision to cross?
Always worrying something will show up in the direction we're not looking?

Ambivalence. Doubt.

A moment of lost direction or confusion.
Maybe sit down to honor it a bit, without getting caught in it, and then resume were we left of?

Remembering the Emperor and Knight of Pentacles preceding this.
Not letting 'progress plateaus' deter us. Not falling for the temptation to give up because of 'unexpected delays'. 
Just like in the woods, we might have to go backwards a bit to find our way round an obstacle, or to find a good place to cross a creak. 
Learning the difference between No and Not Now.
There's a perfect time for everything. 

There's a lot uncertainty and doubt (fear) in the air - maybe for both you and others? 
Hence the 'pretend you have control' (Emperor wearing a mask) and 'slow and steady' (KnoP).
We DO have control, as long as we focus on ourselves, our own responses and our own actions - and make sure they're aligned with our design/essence/soul/heart and who we want to be.
We need to take it slow enough so we have time to assure our uncertain part(s) that it's safe to proceed, that every step we take is safe. Take time to look both ways before we cross a potentially dangerous place - but that it's also safe to then walk, because we've 'done the work'.
We're ready. We're prepared.
