Ease the pressure!
Of course things needs to be delt with from the roots, but sometimes we have to take care of built up pressure too.
A pressure that will keep building up until we've found the source and rebooted/reprogrammed our system - which can take time, why we have to 'lift the lid' every now and then until we have.
If you're a Fire type you might do what's suggested in the LWB - punch a bag. If you're Air like me journaling might be the thing, or put words to it in some way. A water type might want to listen to some music to release it. Earth might want to get out in nature, clean the house, get something done.

It's about admitting and acknowledging what we feel, mostly to ourselves.
Not explaining it to others or finding someone or something to blame.
But also not 'finding excuses' or diminishing what we feel. 'Oh, they didn't mean it. They know not what they do/say. It's fine." It might be so that they didn't mean it, or that they aren't aware of their unconscious patterns - but our feelings are still real! Not necessarily 'true', but real. It really doesn't work to write them off with logic, or ignore them, or deny them.
That only adds to the the pressure build up, and if we don't consciously 'blow off steam' something will - later or sooner - blow apart!
Why wait for that?!
