Ace of Wands, Alchemy England Tarot
Unfamiliar territory induced anxiety or fear!
If we're uncomfortable with our own energy and fire, it may very well be uncomfortable when it's lit and moving within us.
"beginning, start of an undertaking, birth"
So although we're on the one hand 'love the way things are going' (quote from yesterday, The Sun), our Nervous System send us strong signals that things are not safe now ,:)
Or, part(s) of us are excited, part(s) of us are afraid - there's an inner conflict, that may induce or trigger anger (shadows, theme of the deck).
The Shadow part of us wants us to 'quit this immediately'.
Retreat. 'Contain' ourselves. It does not like 'exuberance'. It fears excitement.
Because we're taught that it is not safe to be excited. We're taught it, or experienced it unsafe - or bad - as children.
Or maybe our excitement just never was celebrated, appreciated or supported, why our nervous system interpreted it as 'bad', or plain pointless/useless/unwanted. We learned to repress it.
Then our own excitement - and following it - can scare us. Can 'make us' feel ... sad...!
Because it triggers shame.
Who do we know or remember from our early years that acted/behaved as excitement and fun is something shameful?
So no matter how 'right' a thing is, it can still 'feel bad'!
It's SO important to know (about) this, so we can have and show compassion to ourselves when it (inevitably) happens!
Inevitably if we want to grow that is :) because this is how and where growth happens - through #reprogramming (and (co)regulation, and #repair ).
So while this may look as a bad deck/card combination, it ain't :)
It's merely a kind of 'natural hangover' from yesterday's card!
It will 'fade away if we don't 'believe' and let the shame or fear drag us down, and #Allow #Accept #Embrace and let it run its course. Once we've felt it all without judgment it will be as good as gone!
